Conditional Formatting: multiple rows

Hi all,

I am using the EPM excel add-in for demand planning and we're having an issue with conditional formatting.

We have a sheet that lists the products, the customers of this product and a few key figures we would like to show for these products. If (for example), we would want to have our 'historical sales Y-1' KF to be orange if it is lower then 'Consensus Forecast M-1', we used the following conditional formatting.

Cond form 2.png

Unfortunately, that gave the following result:

So for the first product - customer combination, it works fine. However, it seems to work for all Historical Sales Y-1 figures in the first column (even if this figure is lower of equal to Historical Sales Y-1). My guess was that this was due to the fact that the formula in the conditional formatting was

=F$6<F$5

So then we tried this one:

with =F6<F5, but then no conditional formatting seems to happen. It just doesn't work then.

Is there any other way to approach this issue or should we write an OSS note about this?

KR,

Kristof
