How to get connection name

Env:  EPM 10 SP20 NW

Didn't find a function to get EPM Connection name. If we have to construct a connection string to pass/use use in VBA to invoke some EPM macros, how can we do it reliably.

Isn't  ModelId + " - " + EnvironmentID error prone if user doesn't use default connection format.
