SAP BPC 10.0 NW Creating Controls for nodes (without aggregation)

Hi,

I am trying to create controls that would only be run on a selected node (thus not on base level & without aggregation), as nodes are likely to meet my controls better than base entities when I can have up to 10 node levels between the top node and base level.

Based on SAP's help, this is doable, if Groups aren't used:

"Controls are run on a selected entity or group of entities. If you select a Group, you can run the controls for all the aggregated entities belonging to this Group."

Currently, the context in controls monitor allows me to change category, time and group. According to my knowledge, in my scenario, Groups are in fact used, and thus I am not able to use controls on node level only. Thus, I would like to know, how entities could be enabled so that  I could avoid aggregated running of controls (Of course, if running controls is possible without aggregation in group setting, that would suit me just fine).

I have read SAP's related help postings, and if I understand correctly, the context originates from the settings in Ownership Manager:

"The Controls Monitor displays the Group/Entity structure based on the hierarchy created in the Ownership Manager (only Consolidation type models)."

However, in my situation, I don't know how to do this and how the ownership manager configuration should be altered. Currently I have entities linked to groups in the ownership manager. What makes the situation more tricky, is that some entities belong to parent node and subparent node. Thus, when viewing a certain group, I am seeing duplicate entities.

To give a little background info (if this is needed) in my entity and scope dimension,  I have 2 hierarchies in use.

All help is appreciated and will be noted

BR,

Antti
