Hi All
For an input schedule, we want to move away from using the EPM Context Pane selections.
As such, we wish to use EPMSelectMember to enable the users to a dimension, say sales areas, which will form part of the report row structure. Workbook context settings for sales areas will be hidden from the users.
The sales area dimension has a hierarchy and users will select either node or base members.
The selected member then needs to feed into the EPMDimensionOverride formula. EPMDimensionOverride('000',"SALES_AREAS",'members parameter"
Unfortunately, it appears that the 'members parameter' of the EPMDimensionOverride formula works primarily with the input context, with the exception of dimension properties(which is not our requirement). Does any one know how to use a relationship, EG BAS, referenced from somewhere in the excel spreadsheet instead of the context? Or perhaps their is an alternative to the EPMDimensionOverride formula that we could explore?
Thanks for any assistance
Glen
