Our BPC version is 10.0. We have Consolidation Model, Wants to transport some changes in the model structure. How can i do it. Is it required to transport the entire Configuration of the Model (Bpc_Statis, Commnets and cons_integration_enabled) or just bpc _statis sufficient.

Dear all,
I have experienced an issue on Excel 2013, with different PCs and versions.
When you open a BPC template, Excel opens a blank workbook (called normally Cartel1).
Even if I can see my BPC template, it look likes the system points at Cartel1. In fact, if I try to close my BPC file, I get the message 'Do you really want to close Cartel1?'.
This can be pretty annoying but it's not the only thing. If the BPC template has freeze pane, when I scroll the bar the visualization is completely wrong.
To correct it I have to go to Cartel1 and then go back to my template and then it works fine.
I know this is not blocking me, but my customers would be very unhappy to know they have to do this kind of workaround every time they open a BPC template.
Has anyone of you experienced the same issue? Did you manage to find a solution?

All,
I am a novice with BPC script logic so this is likely a very basic syntax question. As a brief background I have read numerous documents regarding BPC script logic and I have a background coding in VBA.
While trying to write some very basic code I have found that no matter how simple I make it I can never get the code to validate in the BPC Admin Console once I introduce the *Rec line. I've tried various attempts at both Expression and Factor statements and it always comes back with an "Invalid When/Endwhen" error. If I comment out the *Rec line everything else validates fine which has led me to believe there is something I am just not doing right with the *Rec statement.
Below is an example of a very basic test script I have written The model I am working in has 8 dimensions all of which I have declared. Any advice or insight at all to what I am missing here would be greatly appreciated. I would love to begin looking for oppotunities within our processes to incorporate script but step one is learning to crawl.

In the periodic model, can we do the carry forward once a year instead of periodically (monthly)?
In my testing, I have to execute the carry forward every month.
How do I carry forward once a year for periodic model? In the business rule, I have ticked "Applied to YTD" but still the system ask me to carry forward monthly.

this is a two part question about the same Excel sheet containing 2 EPM reports that share the same row elements.
Report 1 (black) is the main report showing entity/intco in rows and auditid/account/flow in columns.
Report 2 (blue) is a different auditid/account/flow.
I would like to hide all rows for which report 1 does not contain data. even if report 2 does contain data. Is that possible?
So, in my screenshot row 296 should be hidden as it only contains data for report 2 but not for report 1.

We are currently working with versión 10.1 BPC NW, versión: SP20 Patch 2 NET 4
We need to open a BPC report more than once, but this version cannot do this the old BPC 7.5 MS version generates different versions for
a same report, adding a sequential number at the end of the report's name and and therefore it can work a same report at the same time.
For example, we have a report with name "Financial report.xlm", the first time we open that report the name assigned by the system is:
Financial report1.xlm
if we open the same report again, without closing the first one, the system assign this new report the name:
Financial report2.xlm
with this we can open the same report many times.
This is not posible in our BPC new version, because when we open a new report, no sequential number is added to the name of the report.
How can a BPC 10.1 report open more than once? is there a way to simulate the behavior of the 7.5 version?

We have recently updated BPC service pack from SP09 to SP16 and EPM addin from SP13 to SP18.
We are facing security issues while we access admin. When we click on users, we are getting
User->Unhandled Error (HTTP status:500) unmarshal.invalid.xml
Audit trail -> CX_COn_Authentification_error.
Execution of report failed.

We are on EPM v20 SP10 Patch1 and we access the EPM via Citrix.
Using EPM Add-In deployed on SAP Portal, We are trying to find a way to automatically launch a custom workbook on launch of Excel. Currently when we launch EPM Add-In, it launches Excel with EPM Add-In and SSO, but opens a blank workbook named Book1. We want to be able to launch a custom workbook.
Is there a way to launch a custom workbook when EPM launches excel?
I apologize if I'm not using the right terms to describe the issue. I am new to this. Please let me know if you need more information.

Some users have to refresh twice before all context driven members completely populate a report. Certain users have the issue...others do not. I don't believe it is security related since the report renders on second refresh, but for some, it works the first time. Any thoughts?

The below script is attempting to calculate the cost of production using cases and COGS housed in Fcst_Master_Data version. After completing the calculation it should place the calculated values in the forecast version. It seems to be calcuating correctly for the sku's that it selects but it is "missing" some sku's and I haven't been able to identify the reason some records are missed.

I cannot find any solution to my need in documentation so I request some help from the experts..
My need is to achieve Interco Reconciliation in Transactional currency with BPC 10.1. We have used the Starterkit IFRS 10.1 to set up our Consolidation environment, but it only contains the IC reconciliation in LC/Group currency unfortunately.
A subsequent need is to be able to retrieve the LC data detailed by their original transaction amount in order to identify if their is any gap due to differences in the conversion TC->LC of each partners involved.
Example of the need:
Account TC Amount TC LC Amount LC Company Partner
A400000 USD 1000 EUR 800 Comp1 Comp2
L400000 USD 1000 MXN 13000 Comp2 Comp1
Group currency is EUR
Rate MXN to EUR is 1/16 , so L40000 for Comp2 = 812.5 EUR.
Reconcilation gap in Group currency is 812.5 EUR
I above case the ICMatching will find a gap of 12.5 EUR.
The only way to know that this gap is due to conversion from TC to LC is to have the detail per TC. Othewise you can think the problem is due to the recording of the IC transaction in one company or the other.
I have read the old How-to about BPC 7.0 but I didn't really understand how to adapt the ICmatching model with it.
=> Has anyone implemented the same need ?
My idea was the following:
- create in ICmatching a new dimension TrnCurrency with transactional currencies
- create in ICmatching a new dimension "ICSrc" to distinguish LC from TC. (this way I can load the LC values splitted by TC transactions)
- Load data in ICmatching from a file containing data in both TC and LC (such as example above). Instead of loading it from Consolidation Model as it is the starterkit.
However, if I do it this way, I cannot use the ICData program anymore. So I was thinking of rewriting what this program is doing.
Can anyone confirm if this program is only copying data from ICAuditID member INPUT to the members DEBIT1/CREDIT1 and DEBIT2/CREDIT2 ?

My environment : SAP BPC NW 7.5 SP17 / Excel 2013
We have recently changed the macro security for Excel from "Enable all
macros" to "Disable all macros with notification".
We can no more refresh the data from the report nor send input data to
the database : it seems like that the functions "MNU_ETOOLS_REFRESH"
and"MNU_ETOOLS_EXPANDANDREFRESH" cannot be executed (no effects at all).
I have tried to change the macro security option to "Disable all macros
except digitally signed macros" and the two buttons work correctly ie
we can refresh and send data again.
Also, I have found out something strange after some other tests : even if i
have defined the macro security to "Disable all macros except digitally
signed macros", only the buttons with the behind functions
"MNU_ETOOLS_REFRESH" or "MNU_ETOOLS_EXPANDANDREFRESH" work properly.
I meant that if i add another button with the following VBA code :
msgbox "hello"
well, it doesn't work at all unless i changed once again the macro
security to "Enable all macros (not recommended..." : then, it works
fine.
If we want an input schedule work properly with BPC internal functions ("MNU_ETOOLS_REFRESH"
and"MNU_ETOOLS_EXPANDANDREFRESH") and VBA code (button), is it mandatory to
define the macro security to "Enable all macros...." ?
Are there some other ways to workaround this issue ?

I have a problem about how "Inputable Member Default Format" option in EPMFormattingSheet with row priority work.
In my case, it works differently depending on models. Model types are same, used dimension types are same and also report structures and types are same. Only difference is dimensions are not identical. You can check the screenshot both reports from two different models are using the same EPMFormattingSheet. Anyone have any idea that there is an option or setting for models to set these features enabled or disabled?

We're using BPC 10.0 CPMBPC 801 SP 9 on SAP BW 731 SP 14.
In our Dev system we made a change to a Task Profile to add a task. The Task Profile is associated with a team.
The team members are different between our development environment and our Production environments. There are few users with access to Development.
We transported both the Task Profile and the team to Production.
After the transport in Production the users associated with the Team all lost their inherited Task profiles and data access profiles. We had to remove them from the team and re-add the team for the inherited tasks and data access to be reinstated.
Did this problem occur because I transported the team and I should have only transported the changed Task Profile?
