Window resizing issue SAP BPC NW 7.5.018
Hi All
I seem to be experiencing an issue when users log into the excel add in. When excel is open the window is maximised taking into consideration the windows task bar. However when we log on to the add-in the window re sizes itself so that the status bar normally found at the bottom of the excel window is now hidden behind the task bar.
Has anyone come across this issue? We are currently using SAP BPC NW 7.5.018 and have the Office 2010 suite.
Any help would be much appreciated.

BPC UJR_WRITE_BACK badi
Hi folks!
I'm a newbie in BPC and would like to know if Write Back badi should be used only for modifying output in the CT_ARRAY? I've a requirement to update dimension attributes in addition. The data is not getting saved at all. I'm using implementing if_uja_member_manager & if_uja_dimension_manager methods. I found that the program is saving the record at some point and later marking as dirty record and reversing the changes made some where inside the standard code. Appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction.

DM Package link with ECC-BW-BPC import
Hello,
I have a requirement to have 1 dm package link that has two dm packages, 1 that executes process chain that pulls data from ECC to BW, once that is complete, execute the process chain that loads from BW infocube to BPC. I know that both these dm packages exist and I have created dm package link, but I need to make sure that if ECC to BW process chain fails, the load from BW to BPC doesnt execute. please advise. thanks.

Disable Headings
Hello All,
We have requirement to prevent the users from editing the row and column headings in a report. Could you please let me know if there is any possible way to do this through EPM, as we can not make them through excel functionality(as users can disable it with ease).

SAP NW BPC 7.5 SP13 performance issue in BPF and security
Dear all,
we are using SAP NW BPC 7.5 SP13, we have following performance issues. If you have any idea please reply it will be a great help
1. In BPC Web page click on BPF activity which have more than 500 data regions, then it is not opening steps instead of that showing empty screen. if I click same activity which have 100 data regions it is working fine. is there any limitation or setting need to maintain for data regions?
2. In BPC admin interface, if I click on create or modify of BPF or team, to get the popup it is taking 20-30 mins.

SAP BPC 10.0 NW : Performance issue
Hi BPC Experts,
We are facing some intermittent performance issues and unable to resolve them i.e., identify and pin point the exact root cause. Sometimes the report executes quickly in less than 1 minute and next iteration it takes longer time - 5 minutes, 10 minutes and sometimes it even gets worst.
Back end seems to be fine, when the report is executed we do not see any long running/hang threads of BPC users. We suspect it to do with front end but unable to find the cause of such intermittent issue.
Below are the SAP System and EPM details.
- SAP NetWeaver 7.31, SP 14.
- SAP BPC 10.0 , CPMBPC 801, SP 9
- EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office , SP 24 / .Net 4 frame.
Laptop Configurations :
Configuration A: Laptop
4 GB RAM
64 BIT Operating System
Excel :2013 (32 Bit)
Configuration B:Laptop
8 GB RAM
64 BIT Operating Sys
Excel :2013 (32 Bit)
We are unable to find what is causing this intermittent performance, wondering if any one had such similar issues. I was hoping I could get some tips and knowledge share from your end.

BPC 7.5 Web client missing Interface icons
On the Planning and Consolidation web client page located at http://servername/osoft, the 3 interface icon's are missing for Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. For the clients that access the page without those icons, it also causes the client software installation to fail.
From what I can tell, it is missing on Windows 10 machines, however, I have found them to be missing when accessing from a Windows 7 machine as well. I have tested on a Windows 8.1 machine without issue.
I have allowed Active X prompts and tried the lowest possible local intranet security settings for testing.
Any advise on what would cause these icons to go missing? Attached is a photo of the icon's I am talking about.

Consolidation model type not available

I have copied the environment shell to create a new environment, got an error which said copying is failed but still could see the environment created( i tried multiple times but got the same error). I proceeded to create a consolidation model with required dimensions. i got the following error(attached). can anyone help me on this.

Launching consolidation from the Web interface with userdefined dimension
Hi all,
I am trying to launch a consolidation from the web admin interface.
I added a userdefined dimension in my consolidation.
If I choose to launch a .lgf consolidation script from the web admin interface it does not work stating that my userdefined dimension is not assigned in Data Manager.
If I launch my .lgf script from a package in DataManager, it works.
Do you know where the mistake could come from?

Why would FX restatements slow down FullCalc
Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone can help me.
When users run a FullCalc before restatements it only takes 1-2mins, however after FX restatements have been loaded into the systems the fullcalc takes 50mins to complete.
Has anyone come across this before? if so what did you do to resolve this?

Light optimize fails
Hi Experts,
we have been seeing regular failure of LO because of system issues.
Is there a way to monitor or send an alert email so that it would help us to monitor/re-run the package.
I see there is no logic script for the LO package , so I am confused if we can get the email triggered for this package run.

BPC 10.1 NW SP 7 full screen is lost when navigating through screens
I am on BPC 10.1, NW, SP 7 - standard version. Has anyone experienced the full screen being lost when navigating through screens from the journals view? Loss of the full screen gives me about 2/3 of a screen. The other 1/3 is black. It seems to only happen when journals view is reached and then trying to navigate to other pages. The only way to get the full screen back is to log off and log back on. Any advice on how to fix is appreciated.

Heavy Report creation
Hi Experts,
I have a question of a report. I'm new working with BPC, so if you could help me I would appreciate it a lot.
I'm trying to correct a report that contains 5 other reports inside with EPM tool in Excel. The problem is that there's a lot of information and the report breaks down while I try to change a scenario or version...
Is this a general problem of BPC? Is there any solution? Could you give me some tips for doing it quicklier?
If this problem can't be solved, then we can't give it to the client.

How to solve error occur while opening transformation or conversion file in SAP BPC 10.1 using excel add-in ?
Hi to all,
This issue is in regards to error occur while opening of transformation or conversion file in SAP BPC 10.1 on HANA using excel add-in. Earlier I was able to open the same transformation file while opening the same in excel add - in, so could be the cause or reason for the same ? For error reference I am attaching screenshot of the same error. I am using M.S. Office 2010 on one machine and having M.S. Office 2013 on another machine. I am able to open that file in office 2013 but unable to open the same in Office 2010.
Error message "Office has detected a problem with this file. To help protect your computer this file cannot be opened."

BPC 10.1 Script Logic Error CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER

Currently I am working on BPC 10.1 on HANA. Currently due to requirement, I have written IIF within IIF formula in script logic due to one of the requirement. Script logic is validated without any error but when I execute package then system gives me error which I have mentioned below. Do please suggest if any alternate way to write this formula.
1. Below is the script logic code that I have used.
