I am trying to load a simple Hierarchy from SAP BW 7.3 to SAP BPC 10.0 (with Package: Import Master Data Hierarchies from BW InfoObject). The Loading of Master Data Text/Attributes was successful. Validate & Process Transformation File for the Hierarchy Load is also running successfully. After running the package I receive the error message:
Time version of dimension RB_ACCOUNT does not exist

We have an issue with displaying data in a report on our legal model in the system.
System details -
BPC 10 NW SP06
EPM Add-in SP14 patc3 with .Net4
Issue Description -
When we create a report in our legal model with time frame 2014.JAN, data does not pop-up in a report. (data is available in BI.)
However, when we take time as 2013.DEC and 2014.Jan, the data gets displayed for 2013.DEC as well as 2014.JAN. Please see the screenshots.

The same issue happens when we select Q1.2014 as member and childern. Data is not visible in 2014.JAN, however, in Q! roll up it is visible. Please see screenshot.
Surprisingly, data can be seen for 2013.DEC quarter. Please see the screenshot.
Ours is YTD model. We have processed dimension and we did not face any issue with it.
Has anybody seen this issue earlier? Please sugest your inputs.
Hi all,
I get the message error "Error Found Retrieving Data" when I push the buttons Expand All or Refresh in an EVDRE Report.
Some info:
- BPC NW 7.5 SP 15
- happens in the Development system but not in the Production system
- SLG1 log error:
The report is a static one (no expansion range active) and the strange thing is that I have this issue if I modify the Row Key Range only in a specific way. I've made some tryouts and here's the situation:
One possibile solution that works is using EVGET for the first scenario but I would like to know the reason of this.

I just want to confirm something about how script sends data to the database. From what I've been reading lately, *COMMIT is only needed when using MDX or if needed within another function. Is this correct? So does *ENDALLOCATION and *ENDWHEN also commit records to the database? Related to that question then, does the more *ENDALLOCATIONS and *ENDWHEN's you have then make the script run slower because they each commit records to the database as they run?
For instance, would I need it in the following 2 places in this the following script.
The script finds the average Standard Cost of Sales per unit over the prior periods and then saves it to a single time period (YYYY.INP).

I got a problem where I could need some help.
I have created a report, which is complete dynamic. It will expand on the basis of filter values. Within this Report I have created a local member to calculate subtotals. The creation of the local member was no problem at all, but with the formula to calculate the values I got some problems. I am able to calculate the total sum, but I want to calculate the sum only for certain members. Please see the Picture below:
In my example the subtotals for whole B1 and B2 will be calculate correctly by the local member formula. But, as already mentioned, I want to calculate only the subtotals for certain members, in my case for Z1. So I expect the value in the sum row to be 90 instead of 210 and 115 instead of 275. Does anyone of you know, how the formula for the local member has to look to achieve this requirement?

We have requirement in EPM 10 NW reporting where in one report we have the calculated values
A_5108 = (Sheet2!B$2)+(Sheet2!B$7*0.07)
these values are not stored in the database.
I need to refer the value of A_5108 in another report. Any suggestion how to refer the cell values of
one report to another report.

In a BW process chain, the package UJD_TEST_PACKAGE is taking a while in a step (about 8 hours)
The step is transferring data from BW infocube to BPC infocube.
I have no dumps in BW. FYI the BW infocube contains about 1.5 millions data.
What can be the cause of this big loading time?

When i try to import a transport from dev to qa, i get the above error, i have setup the RFC, setup the BW User, run transaction RSTPRFC, bwuser/BPC_SERVICE has sap_all and role BPC_SERVICE. the global parm for rfc_destination is set to the rfc. My user has sap_all in the client, and i even added it to the admin group in the bpc console? What am i missing.

We have 500 entity , out of that 200 entity meet specific property called 'Realestate'.

In EPM, I need shows the balance per entity if the 4 accounts balances total is equal to or more than 20% of total assets.
How to achieve this in EPM reports.
For example entity 1001 has following accounts.
Account 1
Account 2
Account 3
Account 4
Total of this 4 account is 21 million.
Total assets of entity 1001 is 100 milllion.
Hence these kind of entities and and their 4 accounts balances needs to be shown in report.
How to do the entities meeting above criteria before report generation.

I have been testing step-by-step the amounts of WHAT, USING and TOTAL and then writing the correct amounts under the WHERE filter, but when i run the complete script logic the results does't match.

Has anyone tried combining the InfoObject Hierarchy of 0COSTCENTER (Cost Center) and 0PROFIT_CTR (Profit Center) into one hierarchy in BW?
I am asking this in order to execute a single load for Master Data Hierarchies of a dimension COST_PROFIT_CTR in BPC 10.0.
If yes, how were you able to load the hierarchy successfully?

My requirement is to load Actuals from BW only for the previous month for certain accounts. For this purpose I am using the /LOAD_INFOPROVIDER_UI process chain in the package with prompts. But since my user doesnt know BI, he is not comfortable using the "Set Selection" option in this package. Apart from Routines, I found this other option of adding SELECTION prompt.
I have tried to add selection parameter using the following discussion,
BAdI for SELECTION Option in transformation file in sap bpc
But it gives status error as :"Failed"

Hi,
when I run an optimisation in BPC MS I can at runtime select to have a zero elimination, i.e. the system will remove all zero balances from the cube. In BPC NW this is not an option.
I know that technically it can be done in the BW (though not how to do it), but my question is, could I somehow start an optimisation in BPC NW either from admin or the EPM Add-In that would include the zero elimination?

A journal is created and auto reverse(Original) is checked and posted, when posted BPC create an journal on the next period that is reversed. My question is, when the original journal is unposted and modified, will this changes will also changes the next period journal created earlier and in Saved status?
