currently we are working on NW BPC 10.1 unified model.
while adding owner property in BW system for work status we are getting below error.
"Characteristic owner is not mapped to any attributes in the SAP HANA model."
Please suggest us where to add this owner property.

Infocube have 1000 record, while I display data and not choose 'Select for output' then data is display.
But if display data choose 'Select for output' and choose 'Select all characterictic' then data is not display although I not change layout.

Hi BPC Experts,
Below script, captures 403 DIVACCOUNTs as below.
Deposits - DA_221101
Lending - DA_211101
Current Account - DA_221102
Plus around 400 accounts.
From the above 403 accounts, I have to exclude the Current Account - DA_221102 alone for the Flow: FL_AVG_CLO_ADJ in the below script.
How can I make the change in the below script or in the dimension property.
Below script should exclude the FLOW = FL_AVG_CLO_ADJ, just only for the Current Account - DA_221102. For all other DIVACCOUNTS, it should consider the FLOW = FL_AVG_CLO_ADJ.
Advise me, please. Enclosed the screen shot for ref.
Exclude this FLOW.bmp shows the flow which needs to be excluded in the transfer from Source model to Reporting model.
Flow.bmp shows the FLOW = FL_AVG_CLO_ADJ .
DIVACCOUNT shows the account ids.

I am not having luck passing prompt filters from my data package to BPC. We are using BPCNW 7.5 SP07
My script logic looks like:

i am want to create a tool kind of thing for master data creation on the fly.
I got some doc about this but all are specific to a single dimension.
I wat to create the standard tool which can work for any dimensions.
I used EPM function to take the environment ,model ,dimension name & dimension property in the excel sheet i am unable to find a way to send these data values to the script of my data manager package.
Can anyone help me in sending the data from excel sheet to the script of the data manager package?

After saving data using input form in EPM excel addin , data gets saved successfully, but there is no confirmation pop up box...
Also I would like to know where are these all pop-ups configured so that we can debug any error.
Once back then, we implemented BADI for year level planning, the number of records shown in the pop up were wrong.

I am developing a Revenue & COGS report. As part of the same, user wants to have Subtotal for Revenue & Expenses accounts and a Total to represent the Gross profit.
He needs one empty row after all Revenue accounts, followed by Total Revenue, then again an empty row ... same for expenses too. This is dynamic report.
I tried using a local member but when the report is changed, the empty line disappears.
I also tried "EPM function - Insert before and after" but that is also not working... I am also not sure of how to use this function.

We are receiving an error when creating a sequence in EPM. It only occurs with one specific sequence and we are unable to trace the problem.
We are currently on BPC Embedded 10.1 and EPM is on SP21 Patch 1.

We are getting short dump while taking copy of /ERP/COSTCNTR.
Actually we are creating ZCOSTCNTR for maintaing ZPERF and ZREV for BPC. Here ZCOSTCNTR is the copy of /ERP/COSTCNTR.
I have attached short dump text file.

But I need write some condition that if 10400001 value > 10400002 value * -1 then only perform the above calculation

As frontend we use EPM Version 10.0 SP20, Patch 1 .Net4 (Build 9042)
The problem:
When running a Data Manager Package, triggering the standard process chain /CPMB/DEFAULT_FORMULAS (with /CPMB/CLEAR and CLOSE_MODE = 0), calling a SCRIPT LOGIC, calling a BADI, the returned BPC Package Status is always 'Failed', even though the BADI has finished sucessfuilly.
Does anyone have a clue what the problem might be caused by?
Please ref. the following details:
(1) Data Manager Package:

Hi,
We are on SAP BPC NW10,SP10.
Last week we faced a data loss issue in production system.How ever we could recover as we had backups for the data.
Now analyzing the root cause for the data loss.During the suspected period there were no "Clear" or "Copy" jobs.
Checked the logs for these process chains in BW back end and in UJFS as well.There are no exact logs in SM37 also.
So we are assuming that data was not cleared with (Clear and Copy)DMPs.
Only possibility I am assuming is some users might have cleared the data with input forms accidentally.
But this is huge data(around 25,000 entries)which is not accepted by the management.
Is there any other possibility for data loss?
Can we clear the data on higher nodes in input forms?
(I mean if we select top node Organization and top node Term,any functionality or Macro can clear the data for base members?)

Dear BPC Experts,
We have a package list that sometimes succeeds and sometimes provides warnings(1st image below). It is a package list that has a package that gets data from another model so there are no details when you view it (2nd image below). When the user raised the issue with me today, I ran the logic/package directly in the model to see the details of the warning (3rd image below). I saw that there was a work status issue which explained why there was a warning. When I asked the user when the work status was set to lock for the items involved, they replied the lock had been in effect for months. However, what is confusing is why the package is showing that it is succeeding sometimes? Shouldn't it always have said warning? I will be creating a new package list for the users that excludes this step since the rates are locked for the year in question but wanted to know if anyone had encountered this before and found out why this would occur?

I have an issue with one of my reports , i have a formula on 4 of my columns and when i run for different regions the report shows blanks members as shown below.#Error - Invalid Member Name: #Not an EPMOlapMember formula. Am i missing any sheet options or user options.

I am trying some thing like

I want base members of 500A and 705 with description in EPMmember selector.
I tried to create PARENTH1 and ID is separate cell and did the cell reference but EPM member selector is blank

If we have a specific server say 10.10.10.10 (abc.co.in) on which we are working, Then under RZ12 we make the following entry as :

parallel_generators abc.co.in_10 ( Lets assume : The instance number is 10 )
Now in SM59 under ABAP Connections , I am giving the following technical settings:
TARGET HOST abc.co.in
IP address 10.10.10.10
Instance number 10
Now if we have a scenario of load balancing servers with following server details (with all servers on different instance numbers ) :
10.10.10.11
10.10.10.13
10.1010.10
10.10.10.15
In this case how can we make the RZ12 settings and SM59 settings such that we don't have to hardcode any IP Address.
If the request is redirected to 10.10.10.11 and not to 10.10.10.10 , in that case how will the settings be.
